Pour comprendre la nécessité de la transformation numérique dans le domaine de l'éducation continue, nous devons d'abord prendre conscience de l'existence d'une société numérisée facilitée par les changements technologiques et le phénomène de la mondialisation. Ces changements transforment notre manière de comprendre le monde et d'y vivre. C'est dans ce contexte de transformation numérique que la société attend de l'éducation continue supérieure qu'elle réponde aux besoins de numérisation. Dans le but de définir des modèles facilitant les processus de transformation dans nos institutions d'enseignement supérieur dans le développement de programmes de formation continue, cet article analyse, à travers 26 articles (entre 2017 et 2022), sélectionnés à l'aide de la méthodologie PRISMA, les principales dimensions, niveaux et acteurs impliqués dans les processus de transformation numérique. Les résultats obtenus nous amènent à conclure qu'il s'agit d'un domaine d'intérêt émergent, particulièrement après la pandémie de COVID-19 qui a accéléré les processus de numérisation.
